Dress in Briz Alpaca

I am trying to make a dress from this pattern from Ondori. I have this book, bought from National Bookstore for PhP45 (about US$2). And I am using this yarn (below) that I just got from ICE. It took some 6 weeks to arrive! I opted for cheaper shipping, just regular registered mail instead of DHL. Regular mail is almost US$9 from Turkey to the Philippines. The shipping is more expensive than the yarns!

 

 

The yarn is called Briz Alpaca but it has more merino so it feels more like merino rather the alpaca. But it’s okay, it has very good yardage. 8 balls cost about US$7 so that’s less than a dollar per 50g ball. The 8 balls should be enough to make a dress in my size.
